The lamp is named after its shape, which resembles a bag (‘kassialma’ is Finnish for a bag lady). Description: Designed by Lisa Johansson-Pape, the angular Sipuli pendant lamp is made from blown opal glass and received a gold medal at the Milan Triennial in 1954. The symmetrical and harmonious Sipuli is particularly suitable for general lighting or for installation in groups in large lobbies. The name comes from the Finnish word for onion, which the lamp form resembles. Sipuli comes complete with a Warm White Led bulb.

Description: The form of Nīkau is based on the bulb and intersecting leaf forms of a Nīkau plant, the only indigenous palm tree in New Zealand. Unlike the coconut palm which has coconuts, Nīkau is a slender clean looking palm tree. The fronds from the palm were traditionally used for thatching and weaving.
Nīkau won a 2015 Red Dot Award. Delivered as a kitset, the light easily assembled via an online video and paper instructions included in the pack. Assembly service is available at a 10% surcharge upon request.
