The fusion of white blown glass with crystal fragments gives Muna the textured look that bears a magical resemblance to the lunar surface.‎ The sphere is encapsulated in a clear ruled dome of transparent striped glass, on which is painted the hidden face of the moon in shaded midnight blue or gold.
