Description: Core is a glass pendant light designed by Steve Jones and Frankie Chan from Innermost. It resembles a parison of molten glass, fresh from the furnace, its form being slowly shaped by gravity's pull. Core is crafted by artisans in the Czech Republic using mouth blown technique and high quality thick walled glass. Description: Terra's shape is modeled after the planet’s rotation, compressing slightly at the poles, giving rise to meridians and parallels created out of iron filaments that gently contain the breath of the master glassblower. The end result is a metal cage with symmetrical and precise lines: hexagons and rhombuses that expand and distributed on the glass surface to cast fascinating patterns of shadows on the surrounding environment.

The lamp is named after its shape, which resembles a bag (‘kassialma’ is Finnish for a bag lady).
