Description: Inspired by the aquatic, boat-shaped diatom algae, Navicula is crafted from strong, multi-layered bamboo plywood creating a natural skeletal skin. The tensile form is lit internally by an LED strip which emits a soft upwards glow of light. Navicula is ideal for a dining table, lounge, foyer, reception or as a sculptural lighting feature. It comes as a kitset for you to enjoy the process of making a light yourself. The light easily assembled via an online video and paper instructions included in your kitset. Description: Terra's shape is modeled after the planet’s rotation, compressing slightly at the poles, giving rise to meridians and parallels created out of iron filaments that gently contain the breath of the master glassblower. The end result is a metal cage with symmetrical and precise lines: hexagons and rhombuses that expand and distributed on the glass surface to cast fascinating patterns of shadows on the surrounding environment.
Terra is available in smooth milky white (Bianco Latte Liscio) or clear crystal baloton (Cristallo Baloton) with height of 400mm and 250mm respectively.
